Let’s Eat In Kitchen Remodel

Farmington, MN  |  2022

Despite having vaulted ceilings,

Awkward half walls containing the kitchen left the main floor of this split-level home feeling disjointed.

Our homeowners came to us wishing to transform their cramped kitchen and wasted dining room space into something more open and inviting.

The simple act of removing the half walls was all it took to unlock the opportunity for a more thoughtful design. No longer constrained by walls, the remodeled kitchen features new cabinetry finished in Farrow & Balls’ beautiful Stiffkey Blue. Extending into what previously was an unused dining room space, a beverage station and double pantries add much need functionality. Meanwhile, a large island turns up the volume on both available counterspace and storage. All appliances stayed in their original location, as did trim and windows.

Unified by new LVT flooring throughout, the new space is inviting and spacious, providing our homeowners with a new lease on the enjoyment of their home, so much so that they may be tempted never to eat out again!
