When a family with a love for music, game nights and entertaining

came to us with an unfinished basement, we leapt at the chance to transform the blank slate into a flexible space ideal for family life and all that comes with it!

Within the living space, a wet bar featuring Sherwin Williams Peppercorn finished cabinetry topped by a quartz countertop and a mushroom-toned herringbone backsplash sets a lively yet sophisticated tone for the space. Striking accents, including champagne bronze hardware and reclaimed wood accents, are carried across the room to a media wall with additional storage for games and more.

An added egress window and a glass Dorothy door bathe the space in light, a rarity for a 1913 home such as this. Nearby, a flexible room space serves as a home gym area. Finally, the ¾ bath featuring soapstone countertops complemented by a black metal rimmed mirror, contemporary lighting and a bold geometric patterned shower tile almost steals the show!
