Mid-Century Modern Kitchen & Great Room Remodel

The kitchen was the jumping off point. New white stacked cabinets with matte black hardware provide much-needed storage and are beautifully topped with granite counters and a white subway tile backsplash.  Existing oak flooring was refinished in a darker tone and pulled through into the great room for continuity. The striking grey-brown island embraces the two-toned cabinetry trend and steals the show.

The great room is the ideal family hang out space with a dry-stacked stone fireplace and reclaimed wood mantel for when the temps turn chilly. An expansive wagon wheel chandelier hangs in the center of the room bringing the mid-century modern design full circle (pun intended!).
