Growing up in Burnsville, Steve was always fascinated with houses. After earning a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, he dove straight in, working in various roles within new construction and remodeling. Moving further into his career, his focus became remodeling and eventually, real estate. Now, as co-owner of White Birch Design and a realtor with RE/MAX Advantage Plus, Steve uses his 30+ years of experience to help better serve our clients. Drawing upon his unique insight into both remodeling and real estate, he speaks with homeowners to ensure they not only understand the possibilitiesย of a space but also what to consider in terms of ROI should there be plans to sell the home in the foreseeable future. These initial conversations with homeowners as heย helps them understand what they want to achieve are among the favoriteย parts of his job. A close second is seeing those conversations takeย shape into something that will bring enjoyment and value toย theย client’sย life and home.

When not managing projects or meeting with homeowners, Steve can be found at home in Lakeville with his wife, Kari. With two grown children, Steve and his wife spend much of their newfound time enjoying the great outdoors, either up at the cabin, traveling or out fishing, hunting or skiing.
